Numbers are an important part to a children’s learning, They can use number language, quantities and measurements in everyday care routines. From counting the blocks they are using to build a tower to their age. The children will always recognise numbers which are significant to themselves as it has a personal meaning. At MonkeyMoos we try to promote number language with the activities we set up for example goldilocks and the three bears, already they are naming them the three bears, but they also get you language like first, after, before these are all mathematical terms.
