Happy Halloween.

This week has been spooktacular, so many fun but scary and gooey activities. We have seen many scary costumes as well as playing tricks and eating lots off treats.

Hope you have had a great day,

In babies πŸ‘Ά we loved playing in the witch’s potion πŸ§ͺ. We splashed πŸ’¦ with our hands 🀲 and picked out all the different things what was on the potion πŸ§ͺ.

As today is hungrymoose Halloween πŸŽƒ πŸ‘» day we had different activities. We had cutting βœ‚οΈ out and making our own pumpkins πŸŽƒ. We had a matching number πŸ”’ activity, the children did well to match their numbers πŸ”’.
Then we had a Halloween πŸŽƒπŸ‘» scavenger hunts where the children had to go and find all the different Halloween things πŸ‘»πŸŽƒπŸ§ͺ.

To start the day the children enjoyed helping make their own breakfast. They had different choices of cereal. and toppings for toast. They used the scoops to pour the cereal and used the knife safely to spread the toppings. Which was then followed with German pretzels for snack!

The children enjoyed talking about their favourite foods by recreating them inlay dough. They had different toppings and they got to use their imagination and talk about past events. They made cakes, pies and pancakes.

They also enjoyed the sunshine in the garden this morning by kicking footballs and playing running races.

Today, in baby room, we have been exploring Halloween music. We moved our bodies to the music and stopped when the music stopped. This has helped with our gross motor skills. The babies have been baking. We made Frankenstein finger cookies! We mixed the different ingredients together and waited patiently for our turns.

Whilst all this excitement was happening, the toddlers and preschoolers have been joined together to share their fun. This morning, we walked to the local library. We held hands with our friends and walked very carefully together. We checked the roads to make sure cars weren’t coming. We looked at at lots of books. The children have also been making their own monsters. We used different shapes and colours to make our crazy monsters.
