What another great week, full of activities and lots of learning! This week we have had National Chocolate 🍫 day were we have made lots of yummy treats to have for snack! Next we have National tiger 🐯 day! We learnt about were tigers live and made lots of stripy pictures! To finish the week we had kindness day were we showed our friends how much they mean to us and how to make them happy ❤️
A day full of chocolate! 🍫
The children have been super excited! They made chocolate 🍫 milkshake for snack, using a spoon to scoop the chocolate powder and poured the milk 🥛 and took it in turns to pour it into their cups!
This afternoon we made chocolate 🍫 Rice Krispie cakes! The children listened 👂🏻 to the adults instructions and again took it in turns to add ingredients and mix it together, then added dinosaur 🦖 sprinkles on top.
We can’t forget the yummy and amazing chocolate rocky roads at lunch time. The children loved them!❤️

Babies have been exploring the potion sensory 🙌 tray . They have been exploring ice 🧊, water 💦 and citrus fruits 🍋. Mixing them together to find out what happened extending their curiosity 🤔. They have also been having a mini disco 🕺 dancing along to lots of music 🎶 and spinning around with grown ups.
At the same time toddlers and preschool have been engaging in Tiger 🐅 Day by creating their own tiger stripes. Using various messy materials in different colours 🌈 they made stripes on paper. Another creative activity they engaged in was making tiger 🐯 masks 🎭. Using paint 🎨 they decorated the masks and put them to try to use later on. Finally they engaged in the water 💦 tray to look 👀 at transporting water while keeping cool in the sun ☀️.

Today has been “Love is Kind Day ❤️ ”. We played with pink play dough and made different things such as snake 🐍, whale 🐋, necklace and lots of other things to give to the people who are special to them.
We then sat at the table and drew ✍️pictures for friends 👬👭👫 and family 👨👩👧👦and discussed what makes us feel happy 😃, sad 😞, excited 😆 and discussed what we can do to be kind.
We also enjoyed drawing ✍️ on the chalk board making big circles ⭕️ and long lines we also enjoyed doing lots more mark making.
In babies 👶 we have been very happy 😃, we have enjoyed looking in the mirror 🪞, playing with lots of different musical instruments 🥁 and climbing on our climbing equipment.
