We have had a wonderful week exploring lots of different activities around National Days. The children have been enjoying Power Rangers day, the children all got to dress up as their favourite power Ranger and all had a discussion about what their super power was and why they had chosen that power!

We have also had are very own SPORTS DAY, the children were able to compete with each other by completing a variety of different races such as 3 legged race, egg and spoon race, sack race and lots lots more.

And lastly we enjoyed about learning all about Paraguay, the children all learnt about the country and how they might live differently to us. We are were luckily enough to try some very yummy Paraguay cake which HungryMoose had made for us!

Today in our small world area the children enjoyed playing a game of Mario racing. There were different characters for them to choose from and the children role played the game really well. 👧👦

At the writing table the children enjoyed drawing power range masks as today is power ranger day. They choose a ranger mask that they wanted to draw and used colour pencils to draw them. The children also told us which colour was their favourites. 👧👦✏️✍️

In our tuff tray the children enjoyed the activity it was a train and track activity with different sensory textures and farm animals. 👧👦🖐🐏🐖🐄

In the messy room at the table the children made a medal as I sports day and we all deserve a medal. They used different colours and spent a long amount of time at the table.👦👧✏️🥇

Babies enjoyed mark making with their grown ups. They used different colour crayons and made lots of marks on paper. 👶👩🖍

Happy Wednesday!!

Today we have had an amazing day exploring the garden and enjoying the warm weather ☀️

This morning we had lots of fun playing in the water 💦 themed tuff tray. We were using different sized spoons to fill different sized containers. We also made our own rain using the colanders.

We then got in teams and done some running 🏃‍♂️ races. We all shouted ‘on your marks get set go’ and cheered on our friends (we were very fast). As well as our running races we practiced our football ⚽️ skills, we were passing the ball to each other and tackling our friends.

Then this afternoon we explored a different tuff tray, it was all about autumn. We learned all about how the leaves fall off of the trees in autumn and we discussed what colours the leave go. In the tray we painted our hands ✋different colours and added them to the trees like leaves 🍃. we also learned how to do brass rubbing using leave and pencils ✏️.

What a fantastic Tuesday!

Today in toddlers and preschool we have had so much fun celebrating 🥳 national sports ⚽️ day.

We have played a game of football 🥅 using our gross motor skills. We kicked 🦵the ball ⚽️ around the garden 🪴 to our friends. When we scored a goal 🥅 we said “ goal!!!”

We also enjoyed playing with the balloons 🎈 and seeing how high we could throw them, how high we could kick them and passed them to our friends! 

We have had lots of fun 🤩 Mark making in a pink 💗sensory tray filled with pink 💗sand 🏝 we used rakes to make lots of pretty patterns 🍥in the sand, sieves to watch the sand 🏝in the air and spades to scoop up the sand and move it across the tray! 

In the creative room we decorated our own fishes🐠 the fishes were already cut of for us by our adults made out of paper plates, it was our job to use the glue stick and tissue paper to make our colourful fishes, some of us made rainbow 🌈 fishes🐟

Today in Babies, We started the morning getting creative. We decorated basketball 🏀 paper plates using orange 🟠 paint 🎨 and paint sponges 🧽. We dipped the paint 🎨 sponge 🧽 into orange 🍊 paint and dabbed it onto the paper plate turning it orange 🧡. 

We then took part in sports ⚽️ day activities using balloons 🎈. We had lots of balloons 🎈 in the garden 🪴 and had loads of fun 🤩 throwing the balloons🎈 into the air and catching them again. We had many different coloured balloons 🎈 and was able to repeat the colours of them.
