In the baby room, we have had a busy day. 😁The babies decorated some Christmas hats, using a range of different colour paints and glitter to make them sparkle. The babies had lots of fun painting their Christmas hats.🎄🥳 In the afternoon the babies had been listening to Nursey rhymes and looking at books in the cozy corner. 🎶📚
In the toddler room they have been busy playing in the cafe in the role play area and making lots of yummy food! 🧇🥓🍳🍕🌽🧁They used notebooks and pens to write down what our friends would like to eat 📝🍴They have also been mixing the food in the bowls 🥣🍽️and then cooking it in the oven⏰As well as this the children have been pouring cups of tea for each other with the kettle and some cups!🫖☕
In pre school they have been doing various activates around Christmas 🎄and celebrating our friends birthdays!✨
Some of the children have been making their little treasure treats to bring home tonight, others have been writing their letters to Santa. 🎅🏻This has involved sounding out and tracing letters of the alphabet to familiarise them selves around it, giving them independence towards writing their own name.
They have been telling the adults about all the presents they would like for Christmas and then began a class discussion between themselves creating stronger friendship bonds.👏🏻
There has been another fun, exciting and educational day at MonkeyMoos 🐵
In babies they enjoyed playing with our farm toys and moving the tractor around 🚜, they also enjoyed looking at the “that’s not my books”.📘📗📕
Meanwhile the toddlers had a fun day looking at and matching different colours,🌈tracing numbers1️⃣2️⃣3️⃣ and colouring monkey pictures 🐒. The children especially enjoyed going out into the garden and playing in the ball pit.⚽😊
In preschool we had lots of fun in messy room celebrating national tea day ☕ To celebrate, in the water tray we dyed it brown using tea bags, 🫖☕ The children also enjoyed creating snowflakes out of lolly sticks ❄️.

The children have been very excited for their Christmas dinner today. They decorated the crowns usings pens, glitter and sequins.✨Some children even decorated some crackers! They were super impressed with the yummy food and ate it all up, they even had room at the end for a Christmas tree biscuit!🍪
We have introduced our book of the month for January, which is……StickMan! 🪵 The children have listened to the story 📚 and have even started to repeat some of the words. The children then went into the garden and collect all the sticks they could find, ready to make their own stick man family.🪵
