Today at MonkeyMoos we remembered our heroes! We marked Remembrance Day by doing lots of fun and inviting activities. There was some very creative poppy making which children of all ages were able to create! Paint, tissue paper and paper plates were just some of the resources used across our 3 sites.
We also taught our preschoolers about the reason for Remembrance day. We spoke about how we are very lucky to have all of our wonderful things in life because of the Heroes! We then had a two minutes silence whilst watching a 2 minute video which showed us poppies growing and animals appearing from hiding places. The children were all amazing, as two minutes is a super long time for any child!
