Wow!! What a fabulous week we have had at MonkeyMoos this week
What an activity filled Tuesday it has been!⭐️⭐️⭐️
We continued the excitement of Science week with more fun and intriguing Science experiments🧬. First, some children took part in an experiment which included mixing warm water with skittles, to predict what would happen to the water💦! We all voted either that the water would change colours, or that the water would change✏️. The adult poured on the warm water, and the children watched closely as the water turned into a rainbow🌈! This was so fascinating and fun that we had to do it twice!😁
Float or swim?🏊🏼♂️ In the red watered messy tray, the children again used their predicating skills to guess whether certain MonkeyMoo objects would float or sink in the water! We discovered: toy animals = sunk!🦮 the cheese🧀 and the watermelon🍉 = floated!
What’s the weather like today?🌤️ Before enjoying all the fun activities we sat down to sing our Tik tok song to say goodmoring to everybody🎶 we the talked about the days of the week📆, and the weather outside! We noticed that outside was chilly🥶 and we knew we needed to wrap up warm in our coats🧥 woolly hats🧢 gloves and scafs🧤
After the big group discussion, we headed out into the garden, wrapping up warm today as the sun decided to hide away!🧥 Outside in the garden we enjoyed a range of different activities from parachute games🪂, to making cupcakes in the mud kitchen🧁

Chalk! ✍️ we have some little artists in the making in the discovery room! Today we used different coloured chalk to draw pretty pictures! we loved feeling the texture of chalk and feeling the residue on our finger tips!🖐 Our discoverers are really enjoying their arts and crafts so it’s great to follow their interests ☺️
Tracks and trains 🚆 we all played nicely together and took it in turns to push the trains around the track! We all loved shouting “CHOO CHOO” As we pushed the train over the bridge! So much fun 😁
This afternoon our Discoverers were feeling extra cheeky and played peekaboo and hide and seek! 🙈 So many laughs and giggles to finish off another cracking Monday! We can’t wait to see what we get up to tomorrow 😋🐒

💖💐Linking flowers 💐💖
Explorers have enjoyed their Monday playing with linking flowers, where they used their fine motor skills to connect thinking flowers. We also named the different colours on the flowers.🙌😀

We have enjoyed reading different story booka. We pointed at the different pictures in the book while having a blast readng !😍✨
🤗🐒Dressing-up babies 🐒🤗
Explorers have had a funtastic day dressing up babies. We have enjoyed dressing and removing the clothes off the babies. ✨

🌟Inventors 🌟
Exercising: The children enjoyed a fun and energetic session of stretching, jumping, and dancing, promoting physical development and coordination. Everyone participated enthusiastically, showing lots of energy!
Indoor & Outdoor Free Play: Both indoor and outdoor playtimes were filled with creativity and exploration. Inside, the kids engaged with building blocks and art materials, while outdoors, they enjoyed running, and group games, enhancing their social skills and physical strength.
We had a great group time outdoor talking about ice and how sun melt them. Then we follow our shadow in the garden.
Morning Group Time & Singing: The children gathered together for morning group time, where they shared their thoughts and feelings about the day. We sang some of their favorite songs, helping them build language skills while having a great time!
Story Time: During story time, the kids took turns looking through books and creating their own stories. It was amazing to see their imaginations come to life as they narrated and illustrated their own tales, encouraging literacy and creativity.
