Red Nose Day!🔴
Today we have been dressing up in our craziest outfits to make everyone laugh. We have had buzz light year, a vampire, children dying their hair red, and even a frozen cowboy! 🧛♀️🧞♀️ 🤠
To start our fantastic day we had apple bobbing 🍎 in red water 💦 where the children splashed their way through to collect as many apples as they could. Whilst this was going on we had some silly Mr potato heads🥔, were we added google eyes 👀, pipe cleaners, coloured match sticks and ribbon to pull the silly of faces!
We then raced into the garden were we had red nose bowling 🎳. We took it in turns to throw the ball at the red pins, to see how many we knocked how as well as cheering everyone on. We also enjoyed playing hide and seek and jumping off the tractor tyre.
Next we enjoyed a yummy snack! We decorated a biscuit 🍪 with red icing and poured it all the way across and then added a juicy cherry 🍒 on top for the nose. 😋
For Red Nose Day we had our noses 👃 painted red 🔴 with a smiley 😊 face on it, even the practitioners had theirs done too! They also enjoyed creating red 🔴 pictures using tissue paper, glitter and glue, watching the older children before copying them.

We have been doing some face painting as well as a tombola! We looked in the mirror 🪞to find our noses 👃and paint them red with the face paint! 🎨For the tombola 🎟️we all took turns to select a different number out of the lucky pot🪣 and we then claimed our prize! Some of us won a new story to read📚 and others got a new toy to play with!🎁
As well as this we have spent lots of time in the garden 💐🌳🪵enjoying this lovely sunny weather!☀️🌈 We have been pouring, filling and emptying containers in the water tray💦playing lots of fun games like bean bag throwing and what’s the time mr wolf!🐺
We have had so much today enjoying the beautiful sunshine 🌞 in our garden 🪴. We have enjoyed some water play 💦, we used nets 🎣 to catch some different sea creatures.
We also enjoyed building lots of sand castles 🏰 in the sand tray and we also done some digging for treasure.
A we got very messy designing our very own red 🔴 noses 👃using lots of glitter ✨, crayons 🖍️ and red coloured tissue paper. We all asked Kim if she could kindly paint our noses 👃 with face paints it was very tickly!!!!

We had our last day for “Comic Relief” so we had a day of red 🔴.
Some of us came dressed in red and some came with red 🔴 hair and pretty red 🔴 bows.
In the messy room we enjoyed playing in red 🔴 water 💦 and finding objects that were red 🔴.
On the table there were pictures of faces and the children had to add a big red 🔴 nose 👃 to their pictures.
In babies 👶 we also enjoyed joining in with red 🔴 day.
We absolutely loved the red 🔴 water 💦 tray. Splashing, tipping up the water and pouring it over our heads. It was so much fun.
