Kindergarten day is a day that we celebrate for the creation and start up of the very first nursery. in 1819 Samuel Wilderspin pushed the idea in earnest, creating one in London, and then hundreds more to follow. Frobel believed that young children learn best when they are able to freely explore their own interests, and we can see that belief evident in the numerous activities like singing, dancing, and creative play in nurseries today.
This is why we will be celebrating with fun activities along with National Tea day. We have self registration, going on walks, creative story telling, map making, junk modelling and learning about shapes through a fun and exploratory way.
