Hope you have had a great day,
We talked about our Easter π£ weekend. The children π§π¦ told us that they got lots of chocolate π« Easter π£ eggs and they were very yummy π.
They also told us that they went to the beach π, to the park and had fun playing in their gardens πͺ΄.
Today the preschoolers have learnt 6 new letters during phonics π time. We learnt the sounds and the actions and will learn these new letters over the next few weeks.
Over on the field the children enjoyed sitting down in the long grass singing πΆ and talking about different topics.
In the afternoon we enjoyed playing with the play dough. We sat around the table as a group and enjoyed socialising with each other.
In babies πΆ we enjoyed spending some time looking at the fish π π tank. We pointed π to them and was very excited to see what they were doing. We also did well to use our words and say fish π π.
Today was a very important day!Β
THE QUEENS BIRTHDAY!πΈΒ
We had to celebrate her day in style. We created our own very own crowns π using, sequins, pipe cleaners, pens, glue, and glitter. β¨ They also got to colour in some crowns using lots of different colours and made them into beautiful rainbow crowns!
Next stop after all that hard work we had to have a party! π We used our role play food and had a tea party and ate lots of food that we thought the Queen would eat.Β
In the garden we used wooden blocks to build a horse π΄ and carriage and role played as if we were the Queen!Β
How many flower are on the field we wondered. ππ» Some of us went on the field to count them. We used the magnifying glasses π and searched around the field, there was lots and lots and we lots count so we decided the best way was to roll down the field instead!
Today we have enjoyed celebrating  world earth π day!!!!
All together we explored and got very messy in our tuff tray which was filled with soil, hay, artificial grass and water π¦. We tried finding lots of different insects π π·οΈ:cockroach: using our hands to explore.
We have really enjoyed planting our own wild flower πΈ seeds and we are excited π to watch them grow!!!
We got our hands messy when putting fresh soil into the pots and then sprinkled the seed in and then very carefully added some water πΏ using a watering can π¦.
We spoke about needing to watering π¦ them everyday and that they need lots of sunshine π to grow.
The preschool children put them inside on the window :window: thinking it was a good spot for growing.
