Today in babies 👶 we have had a wonderful day! We liked getting messy in a painting 🎨 activity, making rainbows 🌈 with paper plates and paint. We also liked using our fingers to make finger prints on the foil.

The babies 👶 have spent a lot of time outside in the sun ☀️ building towers, rocking on the seesaw and walking 🚶‍♀️ over the bridge. They also liked singing songs 🎶 with Alice like ‘If You’re Happy And You Know It’ 😊 and ‘There’s A Tiny Caterpillar’ 🐛. Watching 👀 Alice make different actions.

Today in toddlers we have spent most of our time outside in the garden! 🤩🌳We have been enjoying some water play 💦with bowls and cups to fill and empty 🥣🍶and we have also been painting the fences with paintbrushes and water! 🖌The toddlers have also enjoyed playing with the cogs, putting them together to make them all spin!⚙️🔩

We have also been painting our own flowers using forks 🍴and lots of different colours!💐🌺🌸🌼 We were all very curious to watch as the colours mixed together to make different swirls.🌀🟣🟡🟢🔴

Preschool have spent all morning in the garden enjoying the weather.
We played with some Lego bricks 🧱 building lots of towers and bridges. With Tasha we played hide and seek with the cones, we found lots of different places to hide them around the garden 🪴. We took turns in hiding and finding them. We enjoyed playing with the sand 🏰 and water 💦 tray!!!

We enjoyed looking at our continued science 🧫 experiment from Friday and seeing what happened to our daffodils 🌼 and to see if the coloured water had changed the colour of the flower. We were a little disappointed as nothing had happened to them but we did enjoy smelling and touching the daffodils 🌼.

Happy National Cheesecake Day!Today we have had an amazing day, we spent time making a delicious cheese cake in a MonkeyMoo style way!We all took it in turns to break up the biscuits  and added them to the tray. Next we watched at the syrup and butter melt and poured that all over the biscuits. The next part was the best bit, we had to cover them in cream!! Lastly we added some cherries.  We then enjoyed for snack this afternoon after it had set.
We spoke about the flavours of cheesecake we liked from chocolate  , vanilla to lemon. As it’s been sunny  we outside and enjoyed playing bowling with the large bowling pins  , whilst Some of us enjoyed reading stories to the teddies, which then led to a teddy bears :teddy_bear: picnic in the garden with the stories and pretend food.We spent lots of time in the water  it was very refreshing as it has been nice and sunny.  We enjoyed tipping and pouring with the water using the jugs, cups and bottles.

Today we have enjoyed talking all things about our “Mummy” . We had a group discussion about why we love our mummy , what she does for us and all the nice things we do together.For our mummy’s  we made them a card using our finger tips, we used lots of different colours  .Out in the field we did our phonics  with the preschoolers . They loved being outside, sitting in a circle  and listened really well.
Then we had a running  race together. The children  thought it was very funny when a grown up kept saying banana , tickles or apricots instead of “go”.In babies  they enjoyed walking along cushions. They were practising there balancing skills.
Then they enjoyed playing with the size sorter toys. They did well to put the circles  over the wooden sticks.
