Personal Experience & Biography
I am Joe and I am the Deputy Manager for the Winklebury branch of our amazing nurseries. I have 5 years experience as an Early Years practitioner, while working as a practitioner I learnt about the joy of looking after and teaching children. I joined the team in October 2021 and have loved getting to know all the wonderful children and amazing staff. Every child deserves the right to play, learn and be safe.
I hold a level 6 Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS) from Reading University. I also have a BA Honours degree in History achieved in 2017 from Swansea University. I have also completed numerous courses including my safeguarding level 3, First Aid and catering courses. I love to learn and look forward to adding more to my list of qualifications in the future.
My favourite part of my job is seeing the happy smiles on the children’s faces and the fun they have as they play and learn.
Likes: Football, socialising, spending time with my family and 80s music.
Dislikes: friends (tv show), losing (very competitive)
